Richard Jasper

Rich Jasper is a practicing criminal defense lawyer in the New York City metropolitan area. He served as a clerk to Chief Judge Constance Baker Motley, United States District Judge for the Southern District of New York. He tried United States v. Ronell Wilson, United States v. Vincent Basciano and United States v. Mallay to a verdict. He represented Dandeny Munoz-Mosquera in United States v. Pablo Escobar, et al. He has been a member of the faculty at the Santa Clara Death Penalty College since 2008. Served as cocounsel in United States v. Ahmed Abu Khattalah (Benghazi attack on U.S. Mission) where the DOJ declined to seek the death penalty.
