Melissa Read is the Administrator of the Capital Resource Counsel Project, and has been on board since November, 2021. Prior to that, she was the Administrative Officer for the Federal Public Defender Office for the District of New Mexico from 2002 until joining CRCP. She is also a long-standing member of the Defender Services Organization review team, reviewing administrative operations of defender organizations across the country. She has specialized in administration and finance her entire working career.
