Robert Lominack, Website Administrator

Robert Lominack currently assists the Project with the website. He is responsible for summarizing opinions relevant to federal capital cases and posting material to the web site as well as administering the private side of www.capdefnet.org.

Robert graduated from the University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee in 1995 and then went on to earn his J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law in 1998. Subsequently, as a Prettyman Fellow he earned his LLM from Georgetown University Law Center. During this time he represented indigent defendants in Washington, D.C.’s superior court and supervised law students in the criminal justice clinic. In 2000 Robert moved to Columbia, South Carolina to work with David Bruck and later became a partner in Blume Weyble & Lominack, LLC. During that time, Robert was involved in six capital trials and numerous state capital post-conviction cases. After 15 years of law practice, Robert transitioned to involvement in the public education system. Currently, he is the executive director of an educational non-profit that, among other things, works to mitigate the effects of poverty and trauma in the lives of students and their families.
