Robert Singagliese

Robert Singagliese joined the Federal Capital Trial Project as Capital Resource Counsel in 2026. Before joining the Project, Robert worked at the North Carolina Office of the Capital Defender, representing defendants charged with first-degree murder in state court. Prior to that, Robert was an attorney at the Mecklenburg County Public Defender’s Office in Charlotte, NC, and a Fellow at the Equal Justice Initiative in Montgomery, AL. 

Robert is a graduate of Boston College and New York University School of Law. He and his family live in Durham, NC.
